For now, I am only accepting a few smaller commissions here and there while I continue down a more personal creative path alongside them.
After more than twenty years of painting other people’s horses, I feel the need to give myself some room to explore without predetermined poses, specific details, or expectations. I want to paint different breeds, coat patterns, personalities, and whatever else comes to mind, with a touch of unbridled imagination to see where it leads.
There are so many ideas tucked away in my head that I feel the need to finally let some of them out and onto paper.
So while I’ll still be working on smaller custom pieces, I’m also giving myself the freedom to wander creatively for a while. A little less planned, a lot more wild. One horse, one painting, and one story at a time.
There is a little place hidden in the meadow, made for whenever you need somewhere else to be for a moment.
